This was one of my favorite books growing up, when I saw it here I felt the nostalgic urge. Im glad I did, because it was just as great as I remembered, though it left me wanting more just as it did before.

My young daughters (6&8) years loved this tale despite some tricky vocabulary, reading the book would have served better for having time to explain the words but this was wonderful for passing the time on a long car journey. A fabulous mix of fantasy, folklore, romance, adventure and girl power!

A cute tale of two sisters who are as different as night and day. The adventure is creative and fun and the narration is perfect for the tale.
