Unabridged Audiobook
I love Brant's books. I have read Unoffendable, The Truth About Us, Blessed are the Misfits, and his most recent book The Men We Need. Brant takes heavy subjects and brings them down to Earth. He breaks things down and gives you real life application ideas and concepts that have benefitted my life and those around me. I chose to lead a small group with the leader guide for his updated version of Unoffendable and I would highly recommend it. This book really hits unrighteous anger and forgiveness on the head. I think this book will become a frequent reread in my life. I find new things to chew on each time I read it.
Brant was the narrator, that made it fun to listen to. I had imagined a couple of the ways anger shows itself in people, but he listed many ways anger is used and how they all are destructive. I was surprised how much time he spent on righteous anger, I wouldn't have thought people can justify anger as righteous, there are so few instances of it. Anger is very destructive and he covered all the different ways very well. Listening to books is a little frustrating because I don't have a hard copy of the great scripture references in one place, marked with a chapter title, so I can go and find them easily, that's on me though.
Top 5 books I have read!
