In L.A., Cassie Black is another beautiful woman in a Porsche: except Cassie just did six years in prison and still has 'outlaw juice' flowing in her veins. Now Cassie is returning to her old profession, taking down a money man in Vegas. But the perfect heist goes very wrong, and suddenly Cassie is on the run - with a near-psychotic Vegas 'fixer' killing everyone who knew about the job. Between Cassie and the man hunting her are a few last secrets: like who really set up the job, why Cassie had to take the chance, and how, in the end, it might all be a matter of the moon...

Typically, I enjoy Michael Connelly books. I should have read the synopsis more carefully. Through sheer force of will, I am now into the third CD. It will obviously not get better. I will send it back today. Men should NOT write books with a female main character. Ever.

The narrator (voice) for this book is one of the best I've ever heard! That really makes the audiobook for me. Also, this story was riveting, making me want to drive around the block a few more times to listen. I wish this narrator were used more in Michael Connelly's audiobooks!

Big fan of Michael Connelly's and you can never go wrong with one of his books. This was not his best, but it moves well, has an interesting cast of characters and is well worth reading.

I've always enjoyed MC's novels, but I didn't even finish this one. I didn't care about any of the characters, a bunch of thieves.

I am a big fan of Connelly's anyway, but this was one of his very best, up there with The Lincoln Lawyer. He never gave away the ending, but drew you in to the characters and the plot. Recommend to anyone who wants a very good read.
