Summary
Nestled on the Oregon coast is a small town of rocky beaches and rugged charm. Locals love the land's unspoiled beauty. Developers see it as a potential gold mine. When newcomer Hank Cooper learns he's been left an old friend's entire beachfront property, he finds himself with a community's destiny in his hands. Cooper has never been a man to settle in one place, and Thunder Point was supposed to be just another quick stop. But Cooper finds himself getting involved with the town. And with Sarah Dupre, a woman as complicated as she is beautiful. With the whole town watching for his next move, Cooper has to choose between his old life and a place full of new possibilities. A place that just might be home.

The story line was good, but there was a good spattering of swear words that was completely unnecessary and a few sex scenes that were far too explicit. Not to my standards or taste…I won’t be reading any more of Robyn Carr’s books. I’m getting very frustrated that there are not ratings or warnings on books.

This was a lovely book to read and as usual, the narration was fabulous as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first novel by Robyn Carr and the narrator was easy to listen to.

Great soft romance story. The narrator does a wonderful job with the characters, so far all.

I kept looking at this series and had it on my wish list for some time. Once I started I couldn’t stop the way the book is written you are actually seeing what’s going on in your head the different story like coppers, and so much more the small town friendly family. Good read yes there are some sex scenes however not as explicit as other reviewers has pointed out and I have heard many this book I s totally recommended

I loved it. It was a bit slow to start but stay with it gets much better.

Book started strong but lost my interest with uninteresting dialogue and sex scenes that would have better if left to the imagination. The first Carr novel I listened to, The House on Olive Street, was much better.

This is a great introduction to Thunder Point characters. It give you a great amount of information if you want to get into the entire series.

I could not stand the narrator. It is rare when a woman can do a man's voice without making me cringe. The premise was fine but not as well played out as it could have been. Not one of her better books.
