Unabridged Audiobook
This is a beautifully written and narrated memoir of an unimaginable tragedy and Sonali's long path through grief and recovery. Without being sentimental or overly dramatic, she weaves the tale with tough honesty balanced with grace, managing to capture the loss of a wonderful life with her two very young and very special boys, and Steve, her husband, who was both a true partner and an exemplary dad, and the grueling agony of coming to terms with that loss. She creates a superb narrative of the decade following "the wave" in which she she struggles to forge ahead with her life without her beloved family while keeping their memory close. Very highly recommended. One of the best books I have encountered in years
Powerful, bruisingly honest, and deeply moving. Superb narration-
