Summary
The planet LV-363 teems with exotic life, including a plant growing in the shadows of its deep rifts. The plant’s flower yields a valuable narcotic, and people are forced by the cartels to harvest it.

When a Yautja (Predator) ship arrives for a hunting ritual, the Predators seed the rifts with Xenomorph eggs. The aliens emerge and the result is bizarre and deadly hybrids, with humans trapped between the Predators and their prey. These deadly Xenomorph hybrids—some of which possess the ability to fly—swarm out of control and may prove more than either the Yautja or the humans can defeat.

I am a fan of the Alien/Predator franchise (both novel and movies). With that said, this book was by far the worst book I have read in this franchise. It's almost like it was written by AI. The Predators use human euphemisms, and the humans born on other planets and seemingly uneducated, somehow know about the names of flora and fauna from Earth The Predators were basically human beings with costumes -- the author made no effort to create a culture that was distinctly alien. The author also kept describing the Predators as the best hunters in the universe but continued to provide examples of how bad they are at staying alive. The author also made very little effort at world building -- why are we comparing animals to butterflies -- why would we know what a butterfly is on another planet. I just found the entire novel was written by a lazy author. I will make every effort to bypass any novels written by Yvonne Navarro and Weston Ochse. The only saving grace for this novel was the the narrator -- who was decent.
