Unabridged Audiobook
this was a precious book. one of the narrators didn’t voice the emotions very well and made serious conversations sound borderline comical but other than that this was very enjoyable. the book itself was very good, albeit some drawn out parts, but entertaining nonetheless. would definitely recommend.
The story was engaging. I just could not stop listening because I needed to know what was going to happen next.
This was sweet and I have secondhand trauma about the end of the world now thankssssss There is an element of story in here about two kids learning how to trust the entire world on a deeper level that made me very happy. I spent a lot of time annoyed with the characters, sort of wishing they had someone like Lauren Olamina from “Parable of the Sower” to show them how to survive an apocalypse and build community— but I think it’s a really honest story about how some people act in apocalyptic situations, and I’m glad I read it.
very cute, very funny, and we'll written/done post-apocalypse book
