Unabridged Audiobook
I was blown away by the depth and breadth of knowledge contained in this book about ancient Egypt. The author clearly has a passion for the subject and it shows in the way they bring the ancient kingdom to life on the page. From the gods to the society to the myth and religion, I felt like I was transported back in time as I read. This book is a true gem and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in ancient Egyptian history.

This book about ancient Egypt was a captivating read from beginning to end. The author does an excellent job of weaving together the various threads of Egyptian culture, including their gods, society, myth, and religion. I particularly enjoyed learning about the development of the ancient kingdom and how it evolved over time. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in ancient Egyptian history.
Disappointed. It starts out with some interesting details of life in ancient Egypt and and how important mythology was to their daily lives. But the last 45 minutes is literally the reading of the glossary of the gods from A to Z. Ugh! Narrator is very slow. I had to increase speed to 1.5
