Unabridged Audiobook
Strong entry into the Expanse series. Brings the crew back together after two books being apart. The narrator remains top notch.
This series is so incredibly well done. The authors write compelling characters that seem far more real than most, complete with small quirks and ways of talking that make them seem like they actually exist. The narrator is so good at their job. He can switch back and forth between a hindi accent and a southern accent on a dime. There are moments of listening to these audio books, say riding the bus, where i am very nearly overwhelmed by the emotional content and have to fight back tears or try to keep myself from grinning like an idiot. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
The book is another in one of the best sci-fi series. The narrator is awesome. He’s a voice character actor and I don’t think it would be anything near the same experience without his contribution.
Great narrator and good book.
Good story and great narration. I agree with others in that the book’s story isn’t the strongest in the series so far; it took Some time to get going which I thought was needless in some ways. It was great to have the main characters together and interacting with each other again though, as would have been expected at the end of Babylon’s ashes.
Not the best book of the series but not the worst. And it is a must read if you want to keep going with the crew. Narration is nice.
Another amazing installment to Expanse Series. Corey's is an amazing storyteller and world builder. The character's motivations and actions are so well aligned that you can't help but feel the plot progress autonomously. Super excited to continue with the next volume.
Love this series and it is in full swing with this installment. Corey does an excellent job of bringing back some of my favorite characters from the previous books in the series. Love the narration as well, it would not be the same without Mays- although he did change his pronunciation of gimbal for not apparent reason.
