Unabridged Audiobook
An updated take on beauty and the beast even to the roses. It was alright got a little tired of his self petty on how he looked. He was a strong man but very unsecured. It good but not the best.
I enjoyed it. Lite and simple
I was no impressed with the Beauty and the Beast elements of the book. To me it was very unoriginal and seemed to drag the story on an on. Yes, we all love our fairytales but we don't want to hear and see them retold over and over again in different ways. We need original ideas. I thought that this would be different. I also didn't love the character Eldin.. he was such a prick and I was really hoping that Gretchen would put him in his place for talking to her like he was crazy. I don't care how old or set in your ways you are, if you are paid to service someone, you need to act like it. While understanding Hunter's story and why he was the way he was, his character build up was a little lack luster and even towards the end he never gets over the fact that he can't believe she wants him for him. So... This book was just okay for me. Honestly could have been a lot better. Maybe if there was a little drama over a conversation about plastic surgery possibilities or science experiments or even a little danger.
Loved it! Too bad about the valley girl narrator.
Was a little to Beauty and the Beast for me. It wasn't something that I couldn't put down. Again, the narrator's voice was very young and high pitched which I didn't feel suited my vision of the character.
Excellent second book in the series. I Have already read the entire series once. All the books were good but this was the most sensual and lit me up the most. Way to go Hunter and Gretchen. Be sure to read the next series that is connected directly to these two characters. This Billionaire Boys Club Series is followed up by The Billionaire and Bridesmaids Series!
