Becoming Dragon

I couldn’t get past the horrible narration. The dragons sound like hissing snakes circa 1990 Disney movie. It was awful. After an hour I just gave up. It’s really not worth the ear pain

This story was a little off the wall. A shifter romance with a little bit of science experiment at the same time. Brandon is an alligator shifter however not for long. After his sister is kidnapped, he goes to look for her and becomes a science experiment. Now, while still scaly, he also has wings. It isn’t until he finds others like him and especially an extremely pushy female who knows what she wants that he realizes that there are others sort of like his new self. Dragons?! No way. Aimi is a dragon shifter and she has come across Brandon. Immediately she claims him as her own but he is not feeling it. He doesn’t believe she is a Dragon and he KNOWS that he is not one. So the race begins to find the truth and locate Brandon’s sister while bringing his uncle to justice. This story was a little bland for me… there was really nothing interesting there. I would have loved to see more of the alligator shifter life since that is a type of animal that is not really explored in the shifter romance world. I also felt like there was so much left out of story and I wished that there were more detail especially about his family. Naturally the book is left on a cliffhanger so in order to find out more about what is going on, you must read the following books or just give up. I’m on the fence.
