Unabridged Audiobook
Great battle descriptions, however, the same old tired and unsupported claims of Elizabeth Wydeville as some scheming farmer's daughter. I recommend Arlene Okerlund's history, Elizabeth Wydeville, The Slandered Queen, to counter with great evidence the maligning done to her here. Not only is she portrayed as devious and ill-intentioned, but there is no mention of her mother, despite Jaquetta of Luxembourg being sister-in-law to Henry V and in fact involved in some negotiations on behalf of the Lancaster's. Otherwise I enjoyed this book, but these parts were a big disappointment and stereotypical.
