Loved this book. Author and narrator had me laughing out loud in several moments. Hope they collaborated on more books but I think I’ll have to listen to this one again.

I’m obsessed with this book

Hi Keeland is one of my favorite authors, didn't disappoint here.

Great story with a decent amount of steam, humour and a bit of intrigue. Great narrators too.

I like how the Male lead is shown to be hands on and involved with the many different departments of his business and while obviously has the respect of the people who work for him but that he doesn't throw his leadership role in a way that he is feared. Obviously he's the Boss and he has a commanding role but doesn't abuse that presence as a scare tactic for his employees. Showing that his own personal experience that deeply relates to lead woman's past trauma creates such a strong bond w how that makes this story more unique w different layers to make it have more depth than just another employee-boss relationship story.

I enjoyed this book pretty good story had me interested and wanted to know what happened.

Audio update 2/17/2025 Gahhh I didn’t think that I could love this more book, but after listening to the audio I really do! These narrators really brought these characters to LIFE!! Joe and Maxine are the dream team and they were the perfect Chase and Reese. I love how Joe was able to bring the non-grumpiness to Chase and Maxine totally embodied Reese. ________________________________________________ A BOOK WITH A NICE, NON-GRUMPY BOSS. WHAT IS THIS?! Loved this book so much. This truly might be my top Vi Keeland book!

Bossman was a lighthearted, and funny, fun to listen to audiobook. The story was very well balanced, between the light and heavier elements of this story. Chase and Reese navigate their connection well. It all came together to create a highly addictive, entertaining book with a lot of my favorite tropes. Only reason I’m giving a 4 star is i felt Joe should have done more narration, felt like it was just predominantly Maxine . Otherwise great book

Boss Man is my first read by Vi Keeland, but it will not be my last. Chase and Reese's story drew me in from the very beginning. From the entertaining way they met, all the way to their sweet epilogue, their fun and spicy chemistry is glorious to watch build and grow, while also seeing them support each other through their past traumas and hurts. The audio edition is narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden. Maxine and Joe bring you right into Chase and Reese's love story and make you feel like you're a part of watching this fun couple grow. "Being afraid is when you let fear control your life, let it stop you from doing what you want. When you’re afraid, but you look your fear in the eye and live, that’s courageous.”

I absolutely loved this audiobook! The banter was sharp, playful, and full of chemistry. Chase was irresistibly flirty and charming, completely determined to win Reese over. Having just started working at his company, Reese was reluctant to mix business with pleasure, but Chase’s persistence and charm slowly broke down her walls. However, both of them carried emotional baggage, Reese wasn’t the only one hesitant about love. Chase had his own past to confront, creating moments of tension and uncertainty. Despite their struggles, their connection was undeniable, and neither was willing to let go. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell did a phenomenal job narrating as Chase and Reese. They truly captured the flirtation, emotion, and depth of their characters, making them feel incredibly real. Their performances brought the story to life, giving each character a distinct and engaging presence. This audiobook is fun, flirty, and packed with emotion, an absolute must listen! It’s just so good!
