Unabridged Audiobook
Great story with a nice Godly message. Easy to listen to.
Was hoping for a fun 1950s Hollywood story and instead got a story full of Christianity, old-fashioned values and morals. Skip this book unless you want Jesus and religion.
I am always inspired by this Author. A great story of real love and redemption.
This story was so well written and interesting. I really enjoyed this book. I would highly recommend it.
love it. great listen
I think the author made a mistake in the way she wrote this book: to those who are not Christian it was boring and too preachy, they don't want Jesus and religion. To the Christian it went too far into the lust and desires of the flesh so it was more difficult to truly hear the message of the Lord. Once I finally understood that it was the message from Ezekiel 16 I understood the message of the Lord in it.
Boring. Way too preachy at the end.
Good clean story. Joshua was a little too good to be true.
Another incredible story by Francine Rivers!
Very good book, one of the best. A must for Christians, read excellent
A good read, but seem to drag on a little at the end.
This read is really neither good or bad. It follows Aubra, and it’s funny that she feels unwanted by the people who adopt her or find her under a bridge; yet doesn’t blame the parents who left her there. The brother/sister/boyfriend/girlfriend combo was something I couldn’t get over to enjoy this read.
So relevant, so deeply touching and beautifully written! A must read for everyone who has messed up so badly that they see no hope. And for every person that thinks that they are well in control of achieving their goals in life.
as always Francine Rivers does not disappoint in this compelling drama of Love and Grace . She has a Special way of drawing you in and of course getting the message across.
Loved it! Beautiful story, beautifully written and narrated. Enjoyed it very much.
A refreshingly inspirational story based on valuable core values! Who says clean books are boring? Not this one. Well done, Ms Rivers.
I agree with other reviews. The main female character constantly chose the life of the victim, the plot line was somewhat incestuous, and the main male character was not believable because he was almost a saint. The story has a lot of fuller words, repetition, and the ending is not a surprise at all.
A wonderful story of life in a small town and all the characters were believable a much like the small town I grew up in. Beautifully written with love and inspiration. Bill Adams
I loved this book, a stunning read. A story of hope, until the end ♥
The story was good and felt very real. I relate to Albra, not a lot of the things she did but the way she never felt loved. Never felt “good enough” my mother did not abandon me, but I was very young when she died.
The book wasn't bad but I was not a fan of this narrator. Think I would have enjoyed this alot more if i had just read it myself. A good story though, the plot kept me coming back.
The book was good; a touching story. But a little too long, written well enough to keep me coming back.
Great book. Good message on forgiveness I enjoy Francine Rivers books so much. She is a great story teller.
The book was great! I ended up just reading it. Couldn't deal with the woman's voice narrating. It threw me all off trying to concentrate on what was going on! Think I'll stick to reading :(
Francine Rivers done it again. Wonderful message that no matter where you've been Gods live is always there. Malinda
Amazing story. Amazing author. Francine Rivers has a way of writing that makes you feel what the characters feel . She makes you think. This book maybe long but every single word counts.
