Coraline

I rent audio books as I drive back home twice a month, and the trip is about 4-5 hours. If you need something to keep you awake during the trip, try this book. Albeit short (only 3 hours), it will keep you entertained. Don't be fooled to thinking that this is a children's book. It may very well be, but I think that only adults is made aware of the "dark" side of it. Kudos to the author and the narrator, Neil Gaiman, for this fantastically written (and well-read) book. His voice was not droning, you will NOT FALL ASLEEP. I believe that Neil is the only one who can read it as exquisitely as it was read. After all, it's his book.

Neil Gaiman both wrote and narrated this story beautifully. I'll listen to it again soon, I'm sure.

I love this book so much ! I wish it was longer , my favorite part of listening to this was the creepy music they play with the rats singing. So good !

I was so excited to read this book because I love the movie .....and turns out I love the book too! The movie is closely related to the book and I very much enjoyed that the author did the audio. ????

I have watched the movie version of Coraline where the meeting stop motion of it but reading the book I have more accurate knowledge about what the main thing is about Coraline. and also in the book I get more details and definitions of what is happening in the sounds and the beat

this book is good so far and can't wait to see how it ends I loved the movie I think the movie was good when I heard there was a book I had to read it can't wait to see what happens at the end

One of my favourite books by Neil. Truly a scary story that’s great for brave kids and spooky loving adults.

I love the story and love the narration. This is such a marvelous book, it is great for keeping awake on road trips. I listen to it at least 2-3 times a year.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Neil Gaiman is not only a fantastic writer, he reads a book like no other. I listened to it a second time with one of my kids and enjoyed it just as much.

Easily my favorite Neil Gaiman. Dark but not horror, simple and direct without being dumbed down. Voiceover was done very nicely and was clear and easy to hear in the car. A great bedtime story for the little girl in all of us.

Very good! Gaiman provides an excellent narration, which not all authors do.

Exactly like the movie. Loved the movie and loved the book too.
