Unabridged Audiobook
Not my normal genre, but good book.
I initially, I felt that the story lagged in some parts, but I was always drawn to it and couldn't put it down. I was constantly curious about what was going to happen next and didn't take long breaks between reading sessions. Now that I've finished the story, I've been replaying certain parts in my mind. I think the author did an excellent job of tackling mental health issues that everyone can relate to, all wrapped up in a captivating and imaginative tale. I'm excited to revisit the story and pick up on any details I may have missed.
While the main character borders on annoying, she pulls it together. Beware this story has several steamy romance scenes that do not disappoint imo, and some interesting plot twists. I'm excited for the next book
The person narratoring the book makes it hard to listen to. I had to move on to a different book. I just couldn't get into the book. Don't waste the credit
I wanted to like this story and the series but couldn't quite: The main character remained unlikable and the story progressed in a way that made it palpable that there would need to be more books. Some details were intriguing but the execution a bit clumsy.
Enjoyed story and character’s, few times found it long winded and wanted it to move on but otherwise good read.
The story is not a bad one, but WAY too many sex scenes. Don’t read this unless you like sappy and simpering characters who have no interesting qualities except their lust for each other. The narrator does a good job but the shaky voice in every sentence gets really old.
Nothing special
I kept giving it another try, but I just could not force myself to finish it after several hours. The first rating said they were new to fantasy. That person needs to know it is not all like this.
not my cup of tea
The Narrator saved this for me honestly, but I’m new to fantasy.
