When a young waitress is found dead at a New England beachside resort, a retired defense analyst with a mysterious past must uncover the truth behind her murder.

Lewis Cole thought he'd left his demons behind. He was looking for serenity, retiring from his high-stress Defense Department job to become a magazine columnist living in the New Hampshire coast.

This was a great listen! Lewis Cole is a character I’ve come to know and love through the series, and the audiobook brought him and his coastal New England community to life. So excited to hear the rest when they come out!
