Unabridged Audiobook
I read this at school one day I literally cried!!
Narration was vivid and detailed. As book was being read images danced in my head of the action and the journey detailed about this young lady's growth and development.
The book is great and my students loved it, but there were some audio problems in a couple of chapters.
What an epic novel. This book has many challenges and life lessons. I truly enjoyed reading this book along with my son (5th grader). He enjoyed it too. It open many discussions such as immigration, deportation, strikes, and work ethic. Thank you, Pam Munoz for writing a beautiful book.
I like the book i like the way the narrator used different voices for the characters
This book is so sad I almost cried, but I enjoyed it so much!
In a sobering way, so many aspects of this story is familiar to me. But the depths of the human spirit to overcome is ever present. What a wonderful story.
