I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL OF ROBYN CAR BOOKS AND TERESE PLUMMER IS MY FAVORITE NARRATOR!!!!

I LOVE Robyn Carr's books and am always so disappointed when they end. I got a chapter or so into this one and realized I had listened to it before and listened again anyway. Loved it.

Relaxed easy listening. Authentic story line with believable characters

"Meh" is the best word I can use to describe this book. Thin plot, some truly cringeworthy passages and awkward transitions from detailed writing to sweeping sections written in very little detail but advancing the plot timeline by weeks or months. The narrator was very good. I call this type of reading "empty calories". Was ok to listen to while doing other things because required no concentration to follow the plot.

I couldn’t get very far into this, the narrator is awful. Her try at male voices is cringeworthy and for some reason everybody’s nickname is introduced so early that you can’t keep the characters straight. Yuck, I gave up

A lot going on in this book but great stories.

Not a bad storyline but if I wanted adult content I’d look for it . It is very annoying amongst this content

Enjoyed the book!

Simplistic dialogue, males’ dialogue seemed wildly unrealistic (or pure wishful thinking on the author’s part?) Kept hoping for a plot to reveal itself but all of a sudden the book was over and nope. I guess “stalker girl” was the plot. I won’t read any more of this author’s “chick” books. Narrator’s males voices were jarringly odd but did at least did reflect emotions.

I've thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters and their stories. The story of the Family Gathering is well told and beautifully narrated. This is the second book I've listened to about this family and I'm glad I discovered Robyn Carr.

Boring All the male characters sounded the same. It's like waiting for the good part and it never happens.

I have enjoyed this series so much. This book had strong characters. Some familiar and some new ones.
