Unabridged Audiobook
she is slow. painfully. and every 3rd word is bible... repeating back and fort the same bllsht. thanks for wasting my time! the book in a nutshell is god will forgive them. had a good laugh few times on those absolute lunatic sentences..
loved it !.it really helped me out
Loved everything about this book! I hope Elevation church has you come on as a guest speaker sometime. That would be amazing!
Great practical, godly advice. Coming from a woman who has certainly had experience with great traumas, it carries true conviction.
So slow ,her voice so.... poor thing. I like strength in the voice not a bring me down thing. slow, dramatic downer in voice, boring and runs around the bush to be understood. didn't even get to the 2nd chapter.
Don't get me wrong, I truly believe this is a valuable book. In fact, I plan to listen to it at least one more time. But there is just something about how it overuses the Bible verses. I value the connections, but it just doesn't flow as well. The narrator is the author, and she certainly lived and breathed the book, but her voice and style doensn't enhance listening to the book. However, I do recommend folks reading this book.
Sadly not what I expected. not very practical unless you are a devoted Christian.
It helped me realize I struggle with forgiveness in general
A beautifully written piece. This book has related to my pain on a level that I thought no one could. Scripture is repeated time and time again to allow for His words to sink in. There are some methods written about that truly helped me overcome some of my biggest traumas. I only wish I also had a hard copy to take notes.
Not horrible nor a waste of time but is repetitive and a bit redundant. As a man, I certainly can see why it's more appealing from a woman's perspective. That's not a bad thing, for the record. I feel that traumatic experiences are opinion-based to an extent, and I felt that some of the things in the book were almost surface-level/exaggerated. Either way, to each their own.
Bible… big no from me
There is to much talk about religion. If I had known that, I world not have purchased this book.
I’m not for religion. I was Mislead by introduction and finding tons of scriptures being recited to me makes me want to vomit.
