Unabridged Audiobook
For a nearly 200 year old unparalleled female Gargoyle with "all the powers", who talks such a big game about being the best there is, our heroine sure does get injured in every single battle once men arrive on the scene. It's such a letdown to continually read about her making "careless mistakes" or needing to be saved by the tone deaf men who have to carry her out of most situations after she apparently "ran the city for 50 years" on her own. There is a huge disconnect with who the author portrays her to be and how she actually comes across. Speaking of disconnects, her "match" is unbelievable, I am NOT feeling the love.

Really good listen! Was sad that there is only 2 books though.
