Unabridged Audiobook
I haven’t listened to a Robyn Carr story in awhile. She’s a wonderful author. This one started out slowly, but picked up as I continued to listen. I choose an audiobook half on author and half on narrator. I tell ya, I’d listen to Thérèse Plummer read the dictionary - she’s that good. Never overacts, but she has such good voice control and variety of pacing. I love how she slightly changes to have a huskiness in her voice when doing male dialogue. It is her gift for bringing the story to life that really keeps me interested!
It was a good read. A little slow and some places.
Enjoyed it alot but a little repetitive at times , but still a nice book
