Unabridged Audiobook
This is not actually a history book. In fact, it’s just some guy reading his history notes like he is giving a presentation. In fact, I am sure he did very well on his grade 7 final history report on George Washington. In fact, I bet he achieved an A+. In fact, this is an F- though compared to any actual history. In fact, in addition to being obtuse, it incessantly used repetitive unnecessary verbiage, like ‘in fact’. Give it a miss.
Personally, I did not enjoy this book at all. It did not keep my interest. This may be because it is not the type of book I would normally choose. The narrator seemed passionate but more like he was reading a history text book aloud. The acoustics were off too. I just kept picturing him in a studio. I do not recommend this one.
Standard overview of course of revolutionary battles. Not much detail, no deep dive into military strategy. Narration was awful
