I have read other biographies of our FOUNDING FATHER, especially " His Excellency". This bio has many facts & info that blend and mesh well with the others. I would recommend this book to be "REQUIRED READING" for all students Middle to Jr. High to Senior High. Great companion to U.S. History curricula.

Narrator added to the story with appropriate though not exaggerated inflections ... though seemed so o the French pronunciations seemed slightly off Re: fort dukesny vs fort ducane ... but enjoyed the work. First time I heard/read this author ... appreciated the realistic descriptions of the historical players... dispelling the usual myths and tall tales surrounding Washington..

Andrew Julia narration of George Washington was amazing. I learned so much about George in his early years as well as his military and presidential challenges. To now know and understand the reasons for the 80 million dollars of national debt that incurred while he was in office and John Adam’s solution. I highly recommended this book. Lin L.
