I will not cry and be emotional while at work. This was so beautiful.
Can 100% recommend the novel and this audiobook! The narration was also good, especially to get the correct pronunciation of some of the names.

I really liked this one. It felt like a book of lore and I was engaged and wanted to keep reading every time I opened up the app! It felt like a fairy tale. I have recommended it to friends and recommend it to other readers!

Sweet story with a good plot, well written and well read.
This story is now part of a collection of stories that will live in my head rent free, and will have me wondering from time to time how the characters are doing in their little world. The authors way of describing the spirit world is so beautiful, just their writing in general was beautifully done. It was enough to get me teary eyed, and wanting the book to never end.
Overall I enjoyed all the twists and turns in this story. On the other hand, it took a while to follow the story and getting know the characters. This story appears predictable, but it isn't because I couldn't figure out for sure if there was a love Interest or if Mina's love and obligation for her family and town would override her desires. I couldn't predict if she would live, die, be replaced by the next sacrifice, or ever understand why she had to sacrifice herself. I think the key is to keep an open mind to the end.

It's such a fun and mystical read. I love the folklore within folklore, and I did not find the story predictable. It was everything I was looking for in a fun romance.
I enjoyed this book so much! I didn’t know what to expect at first as I didn’t read the whole summary of the story. The details were really interesting and the story was beautifully written, I couldn’t recommend this enough as it covers so many genres and interests I think many readers/listeners would enjoy. I would listen again!
