Unabridged Audiobook
Awesome book
A wonderful listen from tip to taint
I've been a fan of Martin Short since childhood and love his movies - Clifford, Three Amigos, Innerspace, even his scenes in Mars Attacks- and love his characters he created, Ed Grimley and Nathan Thurm. I love this, it has humor, emotions, and shows that Martin Short is as human as all of us. You learn about his upbringing, how he started his career, the loss of his parents, older brother, and wife. I usually prefer physical copies of books and don't quite read biographies/autobiographies, but this was an exception, very much enjoyed Martin himself reading.
Both funny and touching--made even more entertaining by perfect narration for the material.
Fantastically touching, deeply personal and all around a good time. I loved this book and the whole Short family.
Wow! There is a lot more to Martin Short than I thought--no pun intended. He narrated the book, which made it warmer and sadder and deeper and funnier. What a life! I hope he writes more.
I LOVED this audiobook and can't stop talking about it with my friends who also listened to it. I found myself listening to some of the sections over and over again. I laughed, I sobbed and am more of a fan than I ever was. You will not be disappointed!
His story in his own words and with his own voice, Martin Short's "I Must Say" is a Must Read. I laughed. I cried. I fell in love with Martin Short and his family by the end of this book. When it was over, I felt that I had lost touch with an important friend.
LOVED this book!! What a wonderful way to learn all about his life. The best part is actually getting to hear him do his characters. So beautifully told. I laughed, I cried, I would listen to it again!
Hilariously touching memoir. I can't imagine having NOT listened to this book, as the only way to experience it is at the mercy of Short's brilliant narration.
