Unabridged Audiobook
I thought it was great. Not much of a reviewer,I just wanted to combat the one star someone else gave!
A generational tapestry highlighting the the struggle for personal emergence played out upon a quasi comical field of characters in the gender spectrum. Irving at his modern best asking the questions about what can define an individual and what will stifle a person’s blossoming spirit. It champions a world view of empathy and open mindedness. Life ain’t easy but it’s exploratory and not predestined. Laughs and tears and struggle are to be expected not dismissed as weakness.
One of Irving's best novels! Couldn't stop reading.
Really boring and pointless. Repetitive and self serving. Would not recommend.
