Much better than the first book but still too much self pitying and wining of the main character to my liking. Will see how the 3d one goes

I enjoyed Kill the Dead. I don't think I've more metaphors in one book since Shakespear. In the dead mystery genre, author Richard Kadrey comes in between dance in the twilight Christopher Moore and dark brooding Jim Butcher. All three have a great sense of humor as well. As soon as I found this book was a part of a series, I ordered more. I hope the books come fast.
