Unabridged Audiobook
I find the shifting from descriptions of disease experience to reflections on criminal investigations somewhat jarring, not done as smoothly as I would have anticipated. Given the subject matter one expects a maudlin reading, but there is something exceptionally downbeat about the quality of narration. The rise and fall pitch is also a bit awkward. I can hear the high notes just fine, but when the narrator used his tapering low voice I rarely hear clearly what he is saying. My lack of higher rating mostly stems from this shortfall. A very depressing, although also informative, audiobook.
A must listen to. A refresher course. Easy listen. Bullet point style of presentation without being drivilish. Will rent again.
