Unabridged Audiobook
The book is wonderful, and I like the narration by the author. However, the music and sound effects were distracting and unnecessary. One of the joys of a novel is that it allows for the reader’s imagination. I don’t need foreboding music to tell me something is suspenseful. The writing is good enough to tell me that. I don’t need rain sound effects when the text tells me it’s a torrential storm.
my favorite book by far
The book was amazing. However I got a version that had a soundtrack to it. The music in the background was so distracting and volume wise very in consistent. I was not a fan of the narrator at all. She spoke in one tone the entire time. She didn’t seem very interested in the book. I enjoy an audiobook when the narrator tries to use different voices for the characters.
I absolutely love this book it's the first book I couldn't put down an I've read many times I love the way the story is told from her point of view in heaven is absolutely amazing love love love it
It was a moving, tragic, but beautiful story. The narrator was a bit off putting since Susie was a young lady and the narrator being a woman, still give full props because she’s the author of the work. Awfully stunning.
