A very great listen! Loved the book and the fact that Jo & Chip narrated! I highly recommend this once if you're a fan of the Gaines'.

Absolutely loved listening to this book narrated by Chip and Jo. It was such a cute and feel-good story. Loved every minute of it and learned a little more about them as well.

I loved the book however it was very rushed being read. May physical read this book so I can catch up on the parts I missed. Love chip and Joanna just not the audiobook version.

Great book. Told me a lot about two wonderful people

I loved this book and all the good feels. What an amazing story! I had no idea! I loved all the wonderful motivational messages: dream big, surrender all to God, love one another, care for those less fortunate, trust, don't be afraid to live life and embrace the unplanned, decide to thrive and not just survive. So impressed with Chip Gaines and his joy, work ethic, and passion. As soon as I finished this book, i started listening to his book, Capital Gaines.

If you love the Fixer Upper show you will love this book even more! Classic Chip and Joanna. They combined really well in their narration which was so much better than a professional narrator reading it (although Joanna does read a bit too fast on occasions). Great to hear their background stories, how they got together and how Chip drives Joanna crazy and she loves him even more for it. Such a wonderful couple, better and stronger together.

I honestly was surprised that this book was better than I expected it to be! It truly gave me so much more insight into the couple I already have come to adore from their popular tv show. It also gave me a greater respect for the real people behind the enormous success. I loved the Co-Narration! It fit so perfectly if you are used to watching both Joanna and Chip interact on tv and it was exactly what I would expect if I was sitting across from them, listening to them tell me about their lives and the background of Magnolia.

I feel like Joanne was sitting in my kitchen telling me her story. Loved it!

A fun read learning about the history of Magnolia! at first, joanna is a bit awkward/stale as a narrator but gets better over time.

I can only say I wish this book was longer. Great read. Super narration, inspiring.

Excellent book!! I couldn't stop listening to it!! Loved how they both narrate it and how they talk deeply about their ups and downs. I just wished it was longer because it was so good that I didn't want for it to finish.

Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia story is worth listening to in their own voices on the audio book. It gives a laugh, a tear, and a break from the negativity that we can't seem to avoid these days. It is also a good example for parents, entrepreneurs, couples, and just plain individuals who want to create a strong identity and life for themselves. Thanks Chip and Joanna!

I have been a fan of Chip and Joanna's since the first season of Fixer Upper. Listening to their story, I could relate to some of their story and it made me love them more! I couldn't stop listening!

Great listen! Love that they are the narrators. Blessed and inspired by their story. Definitely hard to push pause to live life I was wrapped up in this book. Every time I would say okay just 10 more minutes but hour later would happen. My kids loved the book too. My 15 year old son didn't want to get out of car as he was listening with me. Definitely worth the read or listen! I love my audiobooks!

I loved listening to the story. These are my go-to audiobooks. I read, too, but this is my escape - my breath of fresh air - my outlet to decompress. Books of this nature are encouraging, uplifting, and inspiring. If you love Fixer Upper, you'll surely love this!

I am a huge fan of Fixer Upper and this book was just as amazing as the show. I love how Joanna and Chip are the actual narrators and they do an amazing job! If your a fan of this couple or their show then this is a must listen!

Absolutely loved it. I love this couple so much and it's very comforting to find the same voice as seen on HGTV. Joanna is creative and Chip is goofy but reliable. Great book! Honest but adventurous.

I loved the tv series and certainly wasn't disappointed to hear the Gaines' own story. They are a truly lovely couple and I thoroughly enjoyed their journey. It was well written in a natural way and I enjoyed hearing them tell their own story. I wondered if they were too good to be true, but turns out they are the gorgeous couple you see on television. They are inspiring, altruistic and a good example of a functional family with great principles. Great read!

Great book!

Such an inspiring book! Just like Chip & Jo's design work, this book is inspiring in not just the ship lap in every room kind of way, but in the way that you want to go clean out every room of your house and make your life a little simpler. Chip & Jo's story explains their simple beginnings in a way that makes you laugh a lot, cry a little, and realize that the important things in life are the relationships you have, not things at all.

My wife and I really enjoy their show "fixer upper " Chip and Jo do such an amazing job transforming sometime soon ugly houses into masterpieces. Although, it seems they do incredibly more than the budget would seem to allow. Back to the book. Great story, and to be narrated by jo, mostly, but chip as well is a great bonus. It was very interesting to listen to all their trials and hurdles, graced by God in the process. Highly recommended read, in this case listen
