Unabridged Audiobook
My least favorite Reacher story. The story was not interesting, not the same Reacher mystique. I didn't care how it ended and it took too long to go nowhere.
Two long drawn out hard to follow initially. Reader was abrupt in his reading. Not my favorite Lee Child story!
Started reading all Jack Reacher books in order .. nearing the end. Love all of the books and love Dick Hill as narrator . Funny this book was written in 2016... but is placed when Reacher was 35 and still in the army. Still enjoyed it throughly. I listen to Reacher books on my commute up to mountains... 4 hours one way!
Great book for a high school to college aged reader/listener. Other than that, mediocre book.
Listened to Night School while hospitalized. Jack Reacher made the time pass quickly. The Reacher adventures are always a favorite choice of mine!
Dicks hill has been the voice of Jack Reacher since book 3. Love him and the Book!
1980's old theme, old audio, old story
I enjoyed this adventure of Reacher, I hope to hear more of his time as a Army Officer and M.P.
It's hard for me to imagine Reacher through the voice of Dick Hill. I was not impressed with this book as much I before. I was a little disappointed.
Lee Child did it again. I hope to hear many more of Jack Reacher early adventures.
I may actually read the book. I am starting to sour on audio books as the two series I have listened to (Reacher and Swagger) the narrators just leave me flat. Part of it is while they try to differentiate voices by character, they all really sound the same making it harder to follow, and their "female" voices just make you cringe. Part of it is the readers just don't sound what I think the main characters should sound like. As for the actual content, it was a middle of the road Reacher book. There are some better and some worse. My complaint with this book was the plot seems to lack imagination and was surprisingly predictable (Lee Child usually does a better job with twists and turns). I also thought all the inter-agency cooperation seemed to go way too well. Always a Reacher fan, even if Tom Cruise and the directors have mangled the movies, but there are better Reacher books to read
Not worth the credit. Wish I could return it. I've love all other Jack Reacher Novels. This is by far the worst. Plot is mediocre at best and Dick Hill just couldn't keep me interested. If Lee Child writes another bad one like this, I'll stop reading this series...:(
This 7 hour book seamed kind of short. I'm not sure it's worth the price of a credit. Will keep in wishlist.
