Summary
The third and final book in Lauren Oliver’s powerful New York Times bestselling trilogy about forbidden love, revolution, and the power to choose.

Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has transformed. The nascent rebellion has ignited into an all-out revolution, and Lena is at the center of the fight.

After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven. Pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels.

As Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain of the Wilds, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancée of the young mayor. They live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.

This trilogy was fantastic I feel the author did a great job glueing your attention to each chapter! And the narrative was marvelous! I felt like I was right next to each character in each scene. It was a tad juvenile for my taste but intriguing non the less!

Read this book when it was first published, my high school students also loved it. I have especially enjoyed the audiobook. I now have the entire series. I highly recommend well preformed audiobooks. They're great when traveling. Audio books are downloaded when you're listening, and they don't drain your battery much so you can listen for hours.

I can't tell you how much I love the narrator, but this last book wasn't as great as the first two. Sadly it felt really thrown together like the author was just trying to finish the series... I liked the switching between Hana and Lena though. :)

I like how the author switches between Lena and Hana perspectives. I loved this series; the third book was a little slower than the others, but still well worth the read! The narrator did a phenomenal job playing each character and giving them a "voice".

After listening to all three, I loved the series however this third one was definitely the slowest. Loved that it was told from Lena

I really like this series but this was not my favorite of the three. It was slower. I like switching between Lena and Hana. I wish we knew Alittle more about what happened to the charaters.

This book felt slower paced than the others. Everything leading up to the conclusion, but not much standing on its own as interest. Still enjoyable none the less. I liked how it was written from two characters point of views. It helped give greater depth to the story as it progressed. The narration was much the same as the previous books. Well spoken, clear, and with emotion. In most cases fitting the context of the characters and situation well.
