Unabridged Audiobook
Before the narrator takes on a project like this where time and place are an essential element of the books he should use a knowledgeable editor or producer to first familiarize himself with the many words with different pronunciations in British and American English. Here are some of the those that are the most painful to the ear: ‘inquiry/enquiry’: it’s ‘en-kwire-ee’, not ‘in-kwirry’; it’s ‘Grovener’ not ‘Gros-venor ’. It’s ‘Tre-vel-Yang’, note‘Tre-vay-lan’. And, please, it’s ‘pro-cess-es’, NOT ‘proh-sissies’. It’s too, painful to have to try and remember others.
First audiobook which I need to slow to 0,8 to understand what narrator says. Very dissapointing, because listening is not relaxing.
I've enjoyed listening to Another World's podcast and the way the narrator brings the books to life
