Wow!! What a great first book in what I’m sure will be a fantastic series. Nick Ryan now joins my roster of great action characters like Jack Reacher, Matt Drake, Orphan X and Mitch Rapp. I loved all of the characters in the book and can’t wait to read the next one.

Great book, I really enjoyed it. Somebody's review mentioned too much profanity, but I thought it was just right! A street crime novel without swearing would just be weird.

Nick Ryan is a flawed human being trying to do the right things so that others have an easier life. I totally enjoyed Nick Ryan getting into situations and how he figures out how to get out of them in the story just flowed along.

Loved this book. A great listen while on a long drive.

Read Lee Child (Jack Reacher) for several books. Nick Ryan is and maybe a little more intense than Jack. As I was reading I could see a young Jack feeling and doing the same as Nick. That deep down feeling of right vs wrong and the conviction to do what is right no matter what the cost. And Nick pays the price every time. The narrator was good easy to listen to. The book kept me awake several nights too interesting to go to sleep. We will see how Nick handles his convictions and the consequences.

It was ok but thought some of the storyline was too far fetched

A perfect pairing of narrator and story. This narrator has become a new favorite. The story is gripping and exciting and I cannot wait for more Nick Ryan!

Great writing

I really liked this book. The only problem I had was that Nick Ryan was always getting hurt more than the criminals. This book definitely kept you on your toes. I'd like to see another novel with this character.

I was very distracted by the narrators voice I couldn’t get into the story. I will continue to try to listen but I don’t think I can get over the narrators voice

Excellent anti-hero. Good story thought brought the ending a little to quickly and cleanly. Overall good story. Enjoyed it.
