I laughed, I cried, I had all the feels. I wasn't sure what to expect in this book, but I'm glad I listened to it. Wil Wheaton is so conversational and compassionate. It's unfortunate his parents are butts.
I'm not super into Star Trek but I love Stand By Me and have known about Wil Wheaton my whole life. Knowing what happened to him as a child is heartbreaking, but hearing him speak his truth and share his story from a 2022 perspective is so special.
This book is a treasure. It is funny, heartwarming, motivating. Real. If you’re a Trekkie, a geek, a trauma survivor: this is for you.
