Don't let the title throw you off. Mr. Manson offers excellent insights into a great way to approach life and work. It's certainly warranted a second listen. Highly recommended!
Advice: Read all reviews (good and bad) before committing to this book. People either LOVED it with a 5 star rating, or hated it and rated it as a 1 star. Depends on the personality.
My thoughts on my 1 star rating:
The F word is way overused (it’s in nearly every single sentence)
The topic was super boring right outta the gate with no depth.
I can’t wait to read something better and cleanse my brain of this useless information.
What a refreshing read. This book cuts to the chase and says exactly what people need to hear.
I thought this was a horrible book. Turned it off.
This is very much style (and a super promising title) over substance.
It may carry 15 mins of core wisdoms, ruthlessly drawn out with anecdotal stories ... Stories that failed to connect me to the author in any way and that and led me to the conclusion that they might well be a life-long narcissist (of one kind or another).
Readers of self help-books might easily be dismissed as being unreliable, skewed, or perhaps over-needy. But pseudo wisdom has a certain unmistakable smell and this is a pungent read ...
by fair the greatest book to keep a open mind !! i love it
I had to stop listening because I felt like I was listening to some random jock at a bar improvise a lecture on life lessons as opposed to someone with intelligence, wisdom, and compassion speaking. Yes, it's obvious that anyone can write a self-help book, but I wouldn't recommend this one. Much preferred Gary Bishop's "Unf*ck Yourself."
Witty, engaging, funny, surprisingly profound. 10/10 will be recommending this book to family and friends alike. Frankly, I think this should be required reading for everyone, especially in today's sociopolitical environment.
Very well written and practical book, it gives you a sober view on what we call 'positivity literature' nowadays. Also, it points out the need of negative events in your life, it's fundamential part of our life and also success we wish for.
Offers a harsh but accurate perspective that I think many need to hear. Including myself.
Alot to think about, nice!
Serious unfiltered truth about being accountable , taking back the load of life and making the most with what you got without deflecting excuses ! Love it !
Yes, as the title suggests, Fuck will be said often. Get over it and listen to the message. And, just do.
Brilliant, honest read.
much of the same content as other self help books
Great book. Challenges our way of thinking and caring and the significance we give to the things we value a why. Actually a great and necessary read.
Great read. I am interested in metal health and positive pychology. This is both my profession and my academic background. And this book had supported much of the up to date research and more importantly a fun read
I feel like I should be the sales person for this book, it’s so good I want to buy all and give away for free. And I totally believe the narrator did this book justice because I think the voice in our heads sometimes doesn’t sound as candid and free as the narrator of this book was...which drilled the message loud and clear into my heart and mind.
Well worth the listen and good for engaging teenage boys
This book is awesome. Yes, the author uses profanity but I found it to be vital to his point. Get ready to change your perspective.
Thought provoking book!
I really enjoyed the book mostly because of the narrator. He is simply f**n awesome! Guess I could use that word for this book. Lol
Good read !!
this is a great audiobook
the words are so true
Very very boring... if you like the expression "Not giving a f***" then you'll love it. If however you want a bit more for your money or maybe just a little more interesting then don't bother. I'm baffled by the 5 star ratings.
This was well worth my time and money. A 5 star recommendation! I can truly say I learned something new that I feel I can take with me for the rest of my life.
Brilliant book and very good narrating. Gets one thinking about things that would otherwise seem unimportant.
If self help is your thing then it’s great read! I already don’t give a f#ck, so I didn’t learn too much, but enjoyed it non the less. Narration was awesome!
Great book! Excellent narration! I highly recommend it.
I have the new point of view on my life choises and problems... it is funny and uplifting
Great book, great advice.
great listen and a bit of a laugh along the way
Very interesting point of view
Oh fuck, this book was great :)
Great, easy listen.
Awesome audio book loved it
Loved this book! I think the corporate world could use a bit of this in this modern world.
Love This book
This book is interesting and funny at the same time lol
Great view on life.
Great listen! Makes you think about life and really where your priorities should be.
The title should be find something in life that matters. Easy listen and good perspective.
Definitely not what I thought it would be. A great book putting your life and your actions into perspective helping you look beyond your own selfishness. Highly recommend if you are looking for a refreshing book of insight into things that could help improve your life
love it, this book should be in the education system
Great book. Very practical and real.
I thought this audio book was a total waste of time and I doubt the narrator or the author gave a F*ck either!
I understand the author may have used the f bomb in the title to get publicity, but I couldn't get past the first chapter because, seemingly, every other word was f. I skipped ahead to the last cd-same thing, f, f, f, f, f ad infinitum, ad nauseam.
I’m not really enjoying the very frat boy-oriented failure examples, such as ‘you’ll never get to feel Jennifer Anniston’s tits’, with suggestions to ‘enjoy improving your golf swing’. These are things I will never give a fuck about. There are some interesting philosophical references sprinkled within a narrative that could be a transcript of a higher level conversation between high philosophy students at a party.
I liked this book, it was a good reminder to stay focused on what matters and let the rest go. Found the voice relatable and easy to listen to
I enjoyed this book. It was one of the best self help books i read - honest, contemporary, entertaining and thought provoking . Should be required reading for young adults. All adults, actually. I look forward to reading more books from Mark Manson.
I’ve put off reading this because of the title lol but I finally did it and it’s got to be one of the best booked I’ve listened to. The content is spot on and inspirational and the narrator does a good job of keeping you awake.
I really think my ex/ current partner would benefit from reading this he keeps letting people walk all over him and taking it out on others sometimes you need to let shit go and sometimes you have another crazy ex getting in the way of you happiness, try and think one moment about the ones actually trying to help you. sorry Damian but needs to be said I love you but you really need to start not giving a [email protected]***
I love it
I read many of the other reviews and feel like most of the low reviews are ones that didn't get past the beginning. Its funny in the beginning then gets very deep and has some great ways of changing how you feel about things. I loved it and would highly recommend it, great ending!
Enjoyed the book, there were several takeaways I got from it
Amazing boom that definitely gave me a new approach and views
I really enjoyed this book, it was easy to listen to, engaging and entertaining. It makes you think about what’s important in your life.
The narrator was excellent, it felt like he was talking directly to you, it draws you to the content and holds up your attention.
I thought it was funny and filling.
Excellent from start to finish
Actually really good?
Was recommended to me but I didn't really listen after they said that it was a self help book. Saw it in the store, had a credit, gave it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I learned something. The lesson is pretty simple when you get down to it but the author hammers the point home with multiple instances of reinforcement. Going for my second read now and decided to leave a review from the first read through. Good flow, narrator is A+. Recommended.
Book was lacking some but the main points are great and valid. Honestly the last 30 min are the best part of the entire thing. Worth a read.
Dumbest book I have read. This book is written by someone who hasn’t been through anything hard in his life and is just another wanna be influencer.
Different way of looking at things but gets his point across. Don't listen if easily offended.
Oh my goodness, this author is such a privileged POS - I want to punch him in the face. I'm sorry I wasted my money on this book. Don't you make the same mistake. It gets 1 star only because giving 0 stars was not an option.
Couldn’t really get into it.
I read this in hard copy a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed listening to Roger's narrative.
Big fan of Mark Manson's work.
there are limited things in life we should care about
plenty of food for thought
A whole lot of magic.
Pretty much basic logic. Would be great for gen z who gets offended by absolutely everything but I am thoroughly disappointed I can’t get a refund.
First Audio book I listened to.. Great content
Real life, helpful was off thinking. Makes you laugh at yourself a bit. Helped me to stop being so hard on myself and others. Time to decide what is really important in my life and stop obsessing about things I can’t and should not be trying to control.
The overuse of profanity in this book is a distraction from his message
Loved this book really made me look at life differently l. Yes, sure it’s obvious to do but sometimes hard.
Turned it off. Wasted a credit.
I love it best audio boo I've ever listened to
love it to the point
Amazing loved it
At its core, the info in this book is very helpful.
But the way it is written is for a much younger crowd. Many pop culture references and a lot of fluff in general. Narrator was insufferable.
Mind opening book, realizing the fucks you give are a ressource you can allocate wisely is a game changer.
will listen again
Excellent book. Entertaining + Insightful!
I liked it. Lots of cursing but if that doesn’t bother you, it gives you and interesting way to look at things. And that’s all any of these kind of books are about. Just different view points and this is most definitely a view point I would like to incorporate more.
Narrated at a nice pace which allows note taking and contemplation. Listened to it multiple times and each time found the information more insightful. Definitely a recommend read.
very nice easy listen, that makes you think a bit.
One of my all time favorite books
The first hour is good. After that, it’s repetitive.
This book should be compulsory on the School curriculum. Society would be better off. I’m aiming to listen to this at least 10 times a year when I need a tune up and start giving way to many fxcks about the wrong things
I absolutely loved this book. I found it thought provoking and insightful. I will definitely read it again.
I loved this book. It's great to have serious things laid out in a fun and playful manner.
I actually had fun listening and narrator made it even more enjoyable.
Great, highly recommend
very good invited for such a young student of life
Was okay, not as interesting or inspiring as I’d anticipated
amazing, life changing book!
I didn't find this book inspiring at all. I couldn't even finish reading it, it made me that depressed about life.
Love this. Humorous and truthful. Great food for thought.
Next time you hear New York Times BEST SELLER think McDonalds.
And not particularly anything beyond the ordinary.
I enjoyed the book, the Narration was okay to me I would listen again
Loved how there was actually a storyline but also things to learn about, the narrator was great and at a good pace. The ending had me in tears. Going to reread this one for sure!
Great read very interesting
life sucks, as long as you let it. But this book is worth it's weight in gold!!!
sucked very much. did not like.
Narrator's female voices were obnoxious. otherwise great!
Reading this book made me feel like I was sitting in a bar talking to a drunk, middle aged white man telling me how he thinks I should live my life. There are many other self help books and programs that actually present evidence about why we should put these strategies in practice, how to actually do it and why it helps. It was also quite disgusting how the author describes a woman being obsessed with him and having the wrong priorities in life when she had had a traumatic brain injury and had likely suffered permanent brain damage. It was also frustrating how he discussed traveling the world as something that was not significant- clearly he is unaware of his privilege and how the vast majority of people lack many of the resources that allowed him to live that way. I am also not anti-swearing by any means, but saying "fuck" literally every other word at times is honestly distracting and takes away from the meaning of the book. If you need to swear constantly, you're probably not a very good writer.
When reading self help books, I would highly suggest looking into the credentials of the author (for example, this author has no formal education in psychology, self help or otherwise).
Additionally, the narrator making his voice more high pitched when imitating women was frustrating.
Would NOT recommend this book. Spend your money on a book written by someone who actually knows what they're talking about.
Highly engaging book
this book is a good one. lofe is full of problems and choosing which problems to have makes a lot of things come into perspective.
I really enjoyed this book. It was my first audiobook and it was great1
Awesome book, really helps access how we look at ourselves.
This book is amazing.
The book was fairly superficial with plenty of cliches and banalities. Writing style is pretty condescending, but there were a few funny jokes- therefore the extra star. The narrator probably accurately portrayed the douchy-ness of the author. Misogyny detected as well, especially towards the last part of the book. There are better ways to spend your time, so skip this book
Brilliant, poignant, thoughtful. Manson's words will slap you in the face with reality and humility, evoke deeper introspection, make you chuckle, and inspire you to stop getting in your own way.
Did not find it interested as the F word was used wayyyy to often. Quit after a few chapters
too many f words
Listened to this book because of some young people that recommended it. I personally don’t appreciate hearing Fuck all the time
informative and a fun listen, narration is superb!
Definitely makes you think. Helps looking at things in a different way.
Hi am sorry but I
love it- listen all the time
This book isn’t awful or great. Not a book I’d recommend.
Just didn’t like it. Too much cussing and not enough meat.
only book in this genre i have enjoyed
Definitely a wonderful read. It’s refreshing and forces you into a pensive state effortlessly!
Absolutely honest and amazing.
This book inspired me to leave a toxic work environment and start prioritizing what is really important to me. Highly recommended it.
Great book!! will listen again
Well worth the listen
Really enjoyed this book Mark tells it as it is
Loved this! Very real and relatable!
I listened to it over two days and going listen to it again, which I don’t often do.
- If the F word makes you cringe, this book is not for you. Luckily it is one of my favourite words.
Simply amazing. I highly recommend this book!
If you like this read Peter F Drucker - Managing Oneself.
The book made a lot of sense. It had a number of good points and was a really interesting read. It’s well written and I listened for 5 hours straight. It’s very insteresting.
Not a big self-help book fan, in fact I straight up dislike self help books. But this one was at least worth a read. Manson calls the sugar-coated-fakery of North America as it is, a pile of crap. Of course, lot of people will not like it because they care too much about trivial stuff that other people do and say in everyday life. If you are the person who is offended by the amount of curse word used in this book, then this book is for you.
A refreshing take on a self help book. I recommend this book!
A book to make you think and question.
I was finding myself caring SO much that it was killing me... And then I would break and give up entirely... it was a constant pendulum swing for me. This book is all about choosing the things to care passionately about, accepting that things will never be perfect and finding the beauty in pain. I tell at least one person a day about this book because it is changing the way I live. #LifeChanging!
Easy listen , very engaging and hilarious. Once you start you don’t want to put this book down
I got lost at certain points, though there was humor at certain points but the book was just not captivating for me.
A true life changer.
Excellent book. Loved it.
love love love this book. I couldn't wait to turn it on every morning on my way to work. the narrator is dry and hilarious. I'm coming back to it again.
Mark Manson’s The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is a realignment for your mind and soul. The book helps to think and prioritize what you should give a F*ck about and what you are not giving a f*ck about and does so in a meaningful and entertaining way. Read this book! Unless you don’t give a f*ck, then don’t.
Does a good job at making you think although sometimes the author is just repeating the same principle.
I was a little wary due to the title, but it was an amazing book. Great perspective! I will listen to this again! Narrator was great as well.
The best book you will ever read! Do yourself a favour and READ IT!
Great book, I recommend that everyone either read or listen to this book.
Listened to this book, while working out in the gym. It was very intriguing that had many statements worth memorizing and/or quoting. Introverts that find themselves in an endless cycle of self evaluating and feeling the onset of depression, this is a great book to put things in perspective. Highly recommended!
Great perspective into our personal decision making. The last chapter can be a scary insight to what we should give a f*u k about in life.
Narration was superb.
Now if only there was a way to get this message to my generation. There are barely any children that read books anymore. Shit I am almost out of high school, and the number of books I have ACTUALLY read is between 6-10... maybe not even that many. My point is that you should probably try to sell these insights to a television show to get people more around this idea. I'm only 17 and I am so sick and tired of the sappy sorry for myself bullshit that goes on around me in my daily life. PLEASE share this book to everyone you know. Make a difference. I see that the world isn't all rainbows and unicorns. Now only if my peers could see it as well, and didn't have everything handed to them as a kid, and only had to work for everything they have which is what I have done.
It was a good book, I enjoyed 5 hour ride and managed to finish it in one night. That being said, I don't know if this changed my life because I didn't give any ****s in the first place. Narrator was on point and Mark Manson is a crazy bastard
the narrator was great, however the content was not as insightful. applaud his attempt non the less
Highly recommend it!
Way deeper and more interesting than I thought! Don’t be confused about the title. Author gave lots of kcufs about his work
The book made many good points, the overuse of “Fu..” was distracting.
Not sure about this one.
Damn good book, I will definitely listen to it again in the future!
The sense of superiority will never make you feel happy. That’s one of the valued quotations I’ve picked up as I listened to this audio piece. I would never want to be like an “entitled person”. I’m glad that I was able to ponder on it and the ways the book has suggested will definitely be valued
Truth and eye opening!
This is a thought provoking book! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I appreciated no Fluff and no BS. Author is definately a narcisist but an enjoyable listen with some good lessons.
Good listen for a 5 hour road trip!
A great book. New ways to deal with everyday life. Highly recommended.
Honest, poignant and frank.
Great inside and narrator perfect speed
I'm giving a few less f*cks and it feels good;)
it was very truthful and brutally honest i loved it
Provides a brilliant alternate perspective into how, and why, to be happy. Loved it.
There were some good takeaways and I actually was riveted by his ending story and I now recognize that giving a f***about everything means you (yourself) can’t possibly give a f*** about a lot of things successfully. I found that I kept getting annoyed by his f*ing storytelling and redundancy of his use of the word f*ing which, I guess was used as a literary tool. So it is somewhat f*ing good.
LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I recommend it to everyone and it has opened my mind and taught me different ways to look at the world.
5 star recommendation a refreshing read that is straight to the point and well worth a read.
Great book, easy listen and motivating
Great to help with the stresses of life. I feel better already and have started to put it in to practice. Thanks Mark.
Fabulous...right to the point, helpful, insightful and grounding. On so many levels this book should be required reading for all humans. I never reread books but will likely make an exception with this book. Excellent!
Great book! Its like having a friend that tells you the truth.
I laughed while learning throughout this entire book. I've read WAY too many "self-help" books and I can say that this book, by far, is one of the most engaging and "fun" self-improvement / self-help books I've ever read. Thanks to this book, I have learned to embrace Disappointment Panda and accept his harsh but true words. I've been promoting this book to everyone I know and hope they read/listen to it because it has changed many of the ways I see and deal with things.
This book changed my whole personal outlook for the better, and also really helped me personally with anxiety. The best book of its kind, hands down! I listen to it at least three times a year to keep things in perspective.
Loved this book, it had some very valuable point and the reader had a great voice. Recommended.
I enjoyed every single chapter of this book. such wise words.
The last chapter gave me so much anxiety I almost threw up.
"Do or do not. There is no how..." Just one of many great quotes from this book.
it's a good reminder for everyone who is somewhat ambitious and currently feels overwhelmed by everything that comes their way.
Advices of no utilities to a balanced person, extremelly repetitive.
I honestly picked this book mostly because the title made me laugh, but I really enjoyed it. Mark's stories and outlook definitely caused me to think differently. I'd recommend this book to anyone and can't wait for my visit from Disappointment Panda
A book worth reading.
The book is good.
Helpful for stressed people and in daily work.
Great book.. author did an awesome job with this one.
Very good book! Easy to listen and very exciting!
A great book.
Great! Definitely I will listen to it again!
Immensely thought-provoking and truly does put things into perspective! Definitely worth a read - maybe two! The narrator is very engaging, too! Beautifully read and immersive throughout! Highly recommend!
A good perspective I enjoyed listening to it.
I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone! The message is compelling and the humor will make you laugh out loud.
My first audiobook in this site and it's been a fantastic listen. The narrator has done a pretty good job without going overboard. Thoroughly enjoyed and a must recommend for any audiophile!!
It was the first book I’ve ever listened to and I really enjoyed it
The only self help book that ever helped me understand not only how to feel better, but offered blunt advice on how to transform words into action. This is a life changing read. You’re missing out on everything your life can be by not listening to every. F*cking. Word. written by the author.
I liked the basic info in the book. it was an easy listen as well.
A great insight into how to approach life. Well read, made me smile and laugh out loud.
Loved it! He is straight up and that’s what I like. Everything he discusses is so true. For instance, once I saw my daughter die in front of me, I viewed life differently. Go live and enjoy life treasuring every moment. Get this book.
I loved this book! It's a totally different self help book.
Instead of telling you the exact plan of how to reach a certain goal ( which is of course also good).
He MAKES you realize what is important and what not.
Great humor I recommend this book.
Wonderful book! So spot on in so many areas! No fluff no bullshit. You can tell the narrator enjoyed what he was reading.
This book has been life-changing and life-sustaining in a concrete way in a tough time in my life. Mark has really figured out a lot and, along with the tough love, is a warmth and compassion that keep it together.
Mark remains one of my favourite bloggers and apparently writers. I loved the sarcastic and in-your-face way of presenting information that is extracted from neuropsychology, buddhism and his own experience. He has a way of distilling valuable information in a way that is totally digestible and catchy. I would love for him to continue writing because he is so relatable and this may inspitr future generations that resonate with this style.
I enjoyed this book. I found it interesting and taught me how to act in certain situations in every day life. I’m not saying it’s changed my life, I just found it interesting and tried to introduce the subject matters in every day life. Unbelievably things that would normally annoy me were okay.
I play poker at a reasonable level and I found that if I changed my way of thinking I could control my emotions during a game, for example if I’m in a position which I think is appropriate to bluff, it was up to me how I control my emotions not the game if that makes sense.
All in all a good read and worth a download
Refreshing and enlightening! I loved reading this and found it profoundly insightful. An awesome read!
I love that this has an honest approach, it's an organized read that I was able to relate to. I'm not yet done, I have an hour left. But this has been an extremely life changing read for me. Highly recommend.
A book that everybody on earth should read. In doing so accepting to make the world a better place to live.
Thanks Mark to tell the truth everybody seek as it becomes aware that it only got one life to live. Better living it happy than stressed out as f***! Cheers
Talk about keeping it RAW. Wow This is an amazing book
It was a great book. The reader was really good.
Was a great book to listen to, clear and insightful.
I have enjoyed this book immensely.
Great book to listen too. Insightful and entertaining. Highly recommend!
Interesting at times but not organized well to provide greater insight. Basically a 32 year old telling you what life is like. Hope he tries again at 62 and it might be less of a mongrel of ideas.
Inspiring and a great entertainer if you are on the road
Great book and reading
Very good book. Really gets you thinking.
Great book! Definitely something to get inspired by!
awesome, entertaining, informative and based on science.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Love that it wasn't dry material
Great and entertaining book. Gets to the nitty gritty and provides helpful information for a life/attitude overhaul. Inspired me to actually follow through!
Epic epic epic! A must listen/read ;)! May we all begin not giving as many f*cks, so we can work toward un-f*cking ourselves. Much love and thanks Mark! Xo
Great insight. Makes a lot of sense and reaffirms what is important versus what is unnecessarily 'big' in our minds. highly recommend for a mind reset =)
I love this book. I really enjoyed listening to the book. The way it describes our view on life is so true and it made me think on how I need to re-evaluate my life.
This book was so relatable and relevant! I liked the conversational tone of the book. I felt like I was talking to my best friend or listening and finding that we often share the similar thoughts and reactions about the good, the bad, and ugly in life!
I'm enjoying it a lot! Makes me laugh out loud and that's always good. First audio book I've listened too.
I actually enjoyed the style! It's a surprise for me. The ending of a book did not leave me satisfied, though. It gives some food for thought, yet it's too weak to be able to answer big and tough questions of life.
Good content. Very entertaining! Great narration.
Read this before and really enjoyed it. Love listening to the audiobook when I need to kick myself hard in the face with a little dose of reality. Great book, pretty good narration.
My first audiobook !
My first Audiobook and I listened to this. It was great listening to this and look forward to reading more.
Great content that definitely was applicable to me personally. The material is presented in a humorous way, so it's an easy listen. I'll listen to it many times to try and absorb more of it.
Some good tips, but nothing earth shattering. It was entertaining.
The 5 minute audio sample provided sounded really great!
Good points. Especially when you feel bad. Nothing is wrong with you. It's just the body telling you to do something about it and not to let it define you as boring or loser or whatever.
And another one is about winning. You should want to win, but not let it define your success. I know sounds logical but he puts it in a better context..
My first experience with an Audio Book.
Once you get past the proliferation of the f*** word and after a more than ferrous sprinkling in the beginning, you will get past it. The book is with the five hours.
The take away is simple, easy to implement and truth be told, not something that one wasn't aware of before. Where the audio book scores is by ensuring one is made aware, is conscious of and internalises these learnings resulting in a real change in behaviour, conduct and decision making.
Hence, the rating - for the book and the narration.
Amazing book. It was much needed, I loved every minute of it!
Life changing! I would recommend it to anyone. I loved this book.
haven't fully digested what this guy is saying yet, but was fun listening to the guy read it.
Great book! Awesome narration!
I just finished this book, and I already want to listen again and purchase it to re read. It is mind bogglingly simple yet deep beyond description. Excellent narrator as well!
Manson portraits an interesting perspective on life in this one; I dig it. I highly recommend this book, and wish I'd heard it sooner.
This is just what I needed right now. Brilliant.
Somethings we have to learn through llife's lessons. Mark puts it in perspective. Easy to read.
As someone who practices the philosophy that this book preaches I can tell you it really works. This book captures the very essence of living life in a meaningful manner without allowing the b*****ds to get you down. If life is getting to you and you have yet to read Mark Manson's book well start now as it will give you an insight into where you're going wrong. Usually it is because you care what people think about you, your car, the way you dress and how you speak etc. Just F*** 'em and enjoy the day, tomorrow is promised to no one. Now stop pissing moaning and go get this book.
Great book. My first audio book and it has helped me tremendously get through a rut of lack of focus and motivation for a better vision in my life.
Like someone put words to my mantra. Worth a listen.
Awesome book. It helped me highlight things that I was overlooking in my life.
I love the book on the art of not giving a f*ck by Mark Manson. It's really well explained. After 50yrs I finally can relate to this. It's changed my whole way of reasoning. Why not years ago!
Highly recommended! Very entertaining yet helpful advice and examples. Going to listen to it again, was a great choice.
very good audio, really helped on my way to work to motivate me
I like the message of taking responsibility for your life and not blaming others. I was lost in the book here and there as I feel he went off on tangents and didn't really stick to the subject. I wasn't very impressed with the book.
Great book! I loved the narrator.
I loved everything about this book! Excellent narration, timely and thought-provoking message. Thank you for the ride!
Eye opening! Sounds just like me.
I love that book and everything about it. I wish to listen to the same narrator again, so searching for his voice in other audiobooks.
Great read! Grabbed my attention right away and kept me laughing page after page. Warning to those who may be offended there are many "F" bombs. Author provides strategies and relatable examples.
Nice and easy.
A must-read for millennials
Great book, take responsibility for your life, and stop blaming the rest of the world!
Clear, easy and fun to listen, recommended to everyone!
it's a very good book. Guy is in love with the F-word though.
Wow, amazing. yes there is cursing but if you get past that... you'll grow and change your perspective on life.
Great Book! I would recommend everyone read this twice!
Very good book , extremely relatable with uncensored truths.
Great book, very relatable to your every day life. Perfect narration.
Terrific book hilariously narrated. Highly recommend.
Best narration I have ever heard!
Great book- once I started I couldn't stop!
I love this book I can't seem to stop listening to it. I'm going to buy the hard copy of this so I can also read this when I have time great insight I really feel that this book engages this generation of young people are thinking on the inside at or least the intelligent ones.
It is a different perspective, a fresh perspective. Also I'm annoyed with the writing and the narration.
This book was easy to read and it a great reminder of what important in life. It was very well done and I will be recommending this to young adults.
Narration was definitely great! Emphasis in the right parts and all, very clear and good pace. The book, I personally didn't agree in some points. I overall it's great and has a good heart. It kind OF seems LIKE a pessimistic message at first, but actually has a very positive tone! Don't be afraid to be alive! Great and also funny at the same time! Definitely worth the time invested!
This changed my perspective on life. Amazing and simple approach to a better life.
This is one of the books that changes your life. Highly recommend to anyone who is lost.
This book really helped me and it was so enjoyable and fun to listen to it than conventional reading. It was a really nice experience.
I really enjoyed the book. The last chapter was very interesting and introduced Becker who I had not heard of.
Very enjoyable, thought provoking and totally bang on to the point. Wow Got it!
Great read, I love this way of thinking the logic is smart and doable
Great book! I read (or listen to) a lot of self help books but the way this book is written is very easy to swallow but at the same time not coddling to the reader. It gives practical advise and not so practical advice in an always interesting manner. (The narrator is great too!)
This book is so f*cked up it gets that part of you that you've known to always exist but always ignored and slaps it so hard, you feel the pain and f*cking wake up!
A modern translation of great truths. I appreciated Madsen's angle on truth. This audiobook is refreshing...a breath of fresh air. Enjoy!!!
