Exodus is the second book of the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) and the Torah. It tells of the oppression faced by the Isrealites, and the way in which- through the strength of Yahweh- they managed to leave Egypt. Then, alongside God and their prophet Moses, they sought the "Promised Land".
