Unabridged Audiobook
Numerous readers take turns reading a chapter or two at a time, which I don't care for. It feels choppy.
Fantastic book. It brought me many hours of joy and interest. The narrator's were often good, but some had awful microphones, or spoke too close or far away from them.
This book is pretty good, although the plot does seem to meander a little. However a lot of the characters are great. Particularly liked M'lady who twisted personally it fabulous! the narration is good on the whole but be warned different chapters are read by different people. I do recommend this book but I have to say the count of Monte Cristo Also by Alexandre Dumas is brilliant! and I enjoyed it much more.
Good story overall. Jumps around which is typical for the period of writing. I don’t like the multiple readers as it looses some depth when the tone and voices of people change constantly. However, none of the readers were aweful.
Far beyond exceptional!!!!! Love this book and narrators have been amazing. well done everyone!!!!
Still mad about the English horses. Halfway through the book it gets super obvious that there are multiple readers, but I have to say, they all did a fantastic job. One girl even sings to you. There was one guy that said one of the musketeers name differently & that also annoyed me but it was just one chapter.
The Story is excellent but some of the readers added their won interpretasions and had little comprehension of French pronunciation
I love the story, always have but the narration leaves something to be desired. Too many different readers, particularly the woman who sounds like she smoked 20 packs of cigarettes a day. It would have been great to have kept it to one narrator.
Great book! Having different readers who pronunciate differently took some getting used to, but in the end I really enjoyed the story.
Great book.
The young lady was fair at best. I personally think she has a fine voice but not much character
