A well written classic . Do I love this book? No . I think it’s an average story, however the narrator was very good and changed voices for each character .

The guy above gave the book one star and said “boringness” in regards to this classic. Pay him no mind. This story is fire.

Treasure Island was as enjoyable as I had remembered it as a child. The narration by Adrian Praetzellis was very well done. He did justice to the author's characters in his reading of the book.

Every one knows the story and it’s ok BUT the narrator he should be a professional! What a great job he did!

It’s a classic. What makes it extra special is the narrator. Adrian Praetzellis is absolutely one of the best. Singling included! He made the story fun and exciting.

There is a reason a book becomes a classic. Treasure Island is well written, in that the reader is taken to the setting of the story and lives in the characters. The cliffhangers keep one reading/listening with anticipation. A young boy out whits and out maneuvers everyone. What is not to enjoy.

I really enjoyed the narration, and the “pace” of the story. It was nice to listen as an adult. Having forgotten what captivated me as a child, I was able to enjoy all the characters. I listened to this book after hearing the narrator read the Wind in the Willows.. planning on listening to all his reads!

Always an excellent book. Has been a favorite of mine for years. Action, adventure, suspense and great story telling. The narrator made this book come alive with subtle accent changes and voices. You can actually close your eyes and see/hear all of the different characters.

Great classic story. Narrator was good but the voices a little quirky.

Nice reading of a classic. I did find the separation between chapters a bit annoying though.

The narrator was the only thing that took me as far into this book as I was able to go, but as much as I wanted to love this classic, I thought it was pretty boring and therefore didn't finish it. Again, the narrator did an amazing job-all those voice changes and accents!

A delightful, exciting story that builds up the popular mythos of pirates. The narrator brought the tale to life & couldn't be improved upon.

Of coarse I love this book. I read it as a boy, I think as a book report. However I didn't read it as it is read by Mr. Adrian. It now seems this book was written to be read by this man. I thoroughly enjoyed it, my mind and imagination running more wild than when read as a child.

This book was probably my earliest introduction into mystery suspense and pirate booty a good solid story. And the narrator read it beautifully , couldn't ask for better.
