Get ready to be entertained! Donna Schwartze has a wonderfully funny and romantic sports story for your ears! Sophie is on her way to her friends bachelorette party. The fourth of five, the women have agreed to play Truth or Tequila at each. Arriving late, Seb, a good looking major league baseball player catches her eye. After a few shots, she and Seb connect, and our story begins. Finding out Seb is part of her new job puts a stop to any further interactions, though Seb does his best to woo the beautiful woman. She will not mix business and pleasure, will she? Her job is important to her,and when she digs deep enough into the problems with the team, secrets are revealed that may destroy everyone. How does it all turn out? Sophie is quite the woman. She is smart and determined and her perseverance is astounding. Seb is sweet and warm, impossible not to fall for and his loyalty is unbreakable. I love this story, it had me laughing and surprised while enjoying the budding romance. A homerun for Schwartze! Holly Chandler and Jamie Renell are our story tellers and the two are fantastic together. Chandler grabs onto her role as Sophie and lets the feelings of loneliness and love pour through her. She creates a strong and vibrant businesswoman, and I loved it! Renell is perfect as Seb. Determined with his loyalty, romantic and passionate, he had Seb down to a pat! This team enhanced this romcom and made for hours of entertainment!

Jamie Renell and Holly Chandler did a fantastic job with the narration. They brought perfect emotion, personality and depth to each of the characters. I enjoy audiobooks and how they bring a whole new experience to enjoying a book. This book was just what I needed. A fun rom com, laugh out loud story with a little bit of everything. Sports romance, a little bit of suspense, some real jerk faces and a sweet love story between two opposites. Seb is an all star baseball player at the top of his game. Not looking for a serious relationship, close with his family and doesn’t put with BS from anyone…but he’s hiding something. Sophia is a strong business woman who doesn’t put up with anyone’s crap and will go toe to toe with anyone..any man. She has trusts issues so you better be straight with her. Seb and Sophia have an unexpected encounter followed by another unexpected encounter. They quickly become friends/confidants but cannot take the relationship any further due to their jobs. The more time they spend together the more they trust and open up….however secrets may tear them apart. We all need a Seb in our life because he’s so caring, compassionate and hot! Lol. Sophia would be a great friend because she is a fierce protector.
