Based on a true story, this is the reflective and extraordinary tale of an ordinary Cornishman, and the people he knew and met, in the 19th century and his journey from a humble beginning on the Lizard peninsula, amongst beautiful but harsh surroundings, out into the Industrial world beyond and back again.
